Bo Boots, the un-ugly Ugg Boot, has an international reputation for designer fleece footwear. Vizualise was approached to set-up an entire digital business model that would allow Bo Boots to expand into international territories easily. Working with international distribution channels in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Europe Bo Boots required a solution that would allow them to sell online, while representing their retailers.
Interaction
To appeal to the fashion savvy, the Bo Boots store was designed highly interactive. The flash interface allows customers to navigate seamlessly through different styles and colours. For iPhone and iPad users, the store was also set-up using jquery to ensure that segment of the market was not missed. Using IP detection personalised landing pages have been created for each major region as well as region specific currencies. The whole site is tied back into a supply chain management application and accounting software to complete the total packages.
Impact
With no retail presence in New Zealand, the Bo Boots online store is their only channel to market. The website created a strong presence for the brand, which opened up new global opportunities in some of the Japan and Europe’s top fashion boutiques.
